At Prestige Pathways, we believe that every student has a story worth sharing—especially those who have faced adversity with courage and grace. The ELG Law Asbestos & Cancer Scholarship is a powerful opportunity for students whose lives have been touched by cancer to use their story to inspire hope and earn financial support for college.

🎓 About the Scholarship

ELG Law recognizes the strength it takes to support or overcome a cancer diagnosis. Their annual scholarship is designed to honor students who have faced this challenge—either personally or through a close friend or family member—and who are continuing their education in pursuit of a brighter future.

💰 Award Amounts

  • 🥇 1st Place: $5,000
  • 🥈 2nd Place: $3,000
  • 🥉 3rd Place: $2,000

🧠 Essay Topic

Applicants are asked to write a 500–1,500 word essay on the topic:

“What it takes to fight cancer.”

This is your chance to reflect on your experience, what you’ve learned, and how resilience has shaped who you are today.

🎯 Eligibility

To qualify for the ELG Law Scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be a U.S. citizen and 18 years or older
  • Be enrolled full-time at an accredited 2- or 4-year college/university or graduate program
  • Hold a minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Have a personal connection to cancer through a parent, sibling, close friend, or personal experience

📅 Deadline

All applications are due by December 15, 2025.
Winners will be announced in early 2026.
